Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the TraxGig website and application at www.traxgig.com (the “Service”), operated by TraxGig (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service — and what it is not

TraxGig provides tools for tracking self-employment income, expenses, mileage, and savings goals, and for generating estimates of taxes you may owe.

TraxGig is not a tax advisor, accountant, law firm, or financial advisor, and the Service does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. All calculations — including estimated taxes, quarterly payments, deductions, and potential savings — are estimates for planning purposes only, based on the information you enter and simplified assumptions. They may not reflect your actual tax liability. State and local taxes, credits, AMT, and many other factors are not fully accounted for.

You are solely responsible for your tax filings and payments. Consult a qualified tax professional before making decisions based on information from the Service.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. Notify us promptly at support@traxgig.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Your data

You retain ownership of the information you enter into the Service. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter; estimates are only as good as the inputs.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access other users' data, probing or disrupting our systems, scraping the Service, reverse engineering it, reselling it without permission, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Fees

Core features of the Service are currently free. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, pricing and terms will be presented before you are charged, and continued use of free features will not require payment.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, and content (excluding your data), is owned by TraxGig and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own business purposes.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ESTIMATES PRODUCED BY THE SERVICE WILL MATCH YOUR ACTUAL TAX LIABILITY OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAXGIG WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TAX PENALTIES, INTEREST, UNDERPAYMENTS, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we will make reasonable efforts to give you an opportunity to export your data.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or a notice in the Service before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and contact
